Purpose and limitations
For self-understanding and financial education. This is not a scientifically validated psychological test, an investment-suitability assessment, or a prediction of future finances. We do not infer income, assets, debt, occupation, family circumstances, or investment experience.
Four axes, five questions each
- When you spend:Value satisfaction today ↔ Prepare for the future
- How you choose purchases:Decide intuitively ↔ Compare before deciding
- How you enjoy money:Prioritize personal enjoyment ↔ Prioritize connection with others
- How you manage money:Adapt flexibly to circumstances ↔ Use plans and rules
Five options and scoring
The options are “Not at all like me」「Not much like me」「Neither / unsure」「Somewhat like me」「Very much like me”. Standard questions score −2, −1, 0, +1, +2 in order. Reversed questions score +2, +1, 0, −1, −2. Each axis totals five questions from −10 to +10.
Negative totals classify left and positive totals right, producing 16 combinations. Time, randomness, and advertising conditions are not used. Changing an answer recalculates all questions.
Ties and middle scores
Zero is displayed as both tendencies and assigned left only for classification. It does not imply left-side characteristics. Absolute scores 1–2 indicate both tendencies with a slight lean, 3–6 a lean, and 7–10 a relatively clear tendency. These are editorial boundaries, not validated standards.
An animal and type name are displayed even when every answer is neutral. When any axis is near the middle, its explanation describes both tendencies, and the main text uses prewritten explanations for mixed tendencies.
Scales sum answers. They are not probabilities, accuracy, scientific confidence, or grades of personal merit.
